voices is an interactive participatory installation produced by pulsing heart. the piece consists of 50 vocal tracks, recorded by ekram eli phoenix with the sydney philharmonia choirs. each of the 2.6m tall tubes is linked to one vocal track, and the installation itself acts like an abstraction of an audio mixer. as you spin a tube, you increase the volume of the linked audio track.
